To provide an electrophotographic image forming method by which high durability and high image quality are secured, the abrasion loss of the film thickness of an electrophotographic photoreceptor used in the image forming method is reduced, potential stability is made excellent and filming to the photoreceptor is restrained, and to provide an electrophotographic image forming device.
In this electropotographic image forming method, the abrasion loss of the film thickness ≥Hd(μm) per one rotation of the electrophotographic photoreceptor in the case of performing an image forming stage, when the photoreceptor is rotated ≥300,000 times, is 0≤≥Hd≤3×10-6, and the fluctuation amount of residual potential ≥Vr(V) per one rotation is within the range of 0≤≥Vr<1×10-5.
