To provide toner whose transfer property is excellent, with which residual toner after transfer is reduced and by which the occurrence of filming to a cleaning member and a photoreceptor is eliminated or the occurrence of a phenomenon thereof is suppressed and an image forming method and a device thereof using the photoreceptor whose releasing property and slip property are high, by which photoreceptor shaving is reduced even after printing for a long term and a large number of sheets and whose life is prolonged.
In an electrophotographic image forming method or device by which an image is formed on a transfer material by passing through at least electrifying, exposure, developing and transfer processes and also the residual toner after transfer is recovered at a cleaning process, the total surface area ratio Z of an additive calculated by Z=(Ht.Wt)/(H.W) satisfies 0.5≤Z≤1.5 in the toner used at the developing process, also the photoreceptor used is provided with at least a photoreceptive layer and a protective layer incorporating filler on a conductive substrate in order, and the angle of repose between the protective layer surface of the photoreceptor and the toner is set as ≥30°.
