To provide an electrophotographic image forming method capable of obtaining an image of high quality without causing the scattering of characters, even in the case of making the electrophotographic device small in size and light in weight, and also, even in the case of attaining a high-speed electrophotographic processing.
As for the electrophotographic image forming method including an electrifying process, an exposure process, a developing process and a transfer process in a process of rotating an electrostatic latent image carrier 1, the circumferential velocity of the electrostatic latent image carrier 1 is controlled to be 200 to 500 mm/see. and the outside diameter of the electrostatic latent image carrier 1 is controlled to be 15 to 35 mm, the outside diameter of the developing carrier is controlled to be 10 to 25 mm, and also, magnetic one- component developer whose residual magnetization in a measured magnetic field 796 kA/m is 0.5 to 5.0 Am2/kg is used as developer.
