To provide a manufacturing method of an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of obtaining high-definition and high-quality image over a long period of time, and to provide the electrophotographic photoreceptor, an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge, and an image forming method.
The electrophotographic photoreceptor is manufactured by constituting so that a photosensitive layer 33 (for example, successively forming a charge generation layer 35 and a charge transport layer 37 via a middle layer 41) is laminated on a conductive support 31 and a cured resin layer (a polymerizable compound is previously polymerized for curing to make a crosslinked film) is formed thereon and, thereafter, a surface protection layer 39 is formed by bringing a super-critical fluid and/or sub-critical fluid containing at least one of antioxidant into contact with the cured resin layer. By using the electrophotographic photoreceptor, the image forming apparatus and the process cartridge for image forming apparatus are constituted so as to form an image.
