Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic photoreceptor ensuring improved lubricity and slipping memory characteristics and having satisfactory solvent cracking resistance by incorporating a polymer having specified constituent units and a specified copolymer obtd. by branching the constituent units with ester bonds into the surface layer of an electrophotographic photoreceptor.
SOLUTION: This electrophotographic photoreceptor has a surface layer contg. a polymer having constituent units represented by the formula and a copolymer obtd. by branching one or more kinds of constituent units represented by the formula with ester bonds. The copolymer has phenyl groups each having F atoms substd. for all H atoms at the terminals. In the formula, A is -CR3R4- (each of R3 and R4 is H or 1-6C alkyl), 5-11C 1,1-cycloalkyl, etc., and each of R1 and R2 is H, alkyl, etc. The compatibility of the polymer with the copolymer can be improved by using at least one kind of constituent unit represented by the formula in the copolymer as the same constituent unit that the polymer has.
