Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005134625
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor in which lowering of earth function due to loose connection by deformation of an earth plate is prevented when a resin flange is press-engaged with a photoreceptor drum or a shaft is infixed in the photoreceptor drum press-engaged with the resin flange, and on which occurrence of image disorder is prevented which is due to deformation of the photoreceptor drum by the earth plate at the time of press-engaging the resin flange with the drum.

In the electrophotographic photoreceptor in which the resin flange has a central shaft hole in which the shaft is inserted to rotatably support the photoreceptor drum and the earth plate attached to the inside end face of the flange to ensure electric conduction between the drum and shaft, wherein the earth plate comprises a flat plate part, a peripheral contact part disposed on the periphery of the flat plate part and parts for holding the shaft on the periphery of the central shaft hole, the earth plate has protrusions arranged to reinforce the flat plate part in order to prevent deformation.
