Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity, excellent durability and high performance.
CONSTITUTION: A conductive base body is provided with a photosensitive layer which severally contains p-type pigment as charge generating material, and diphenylquinone derivative represented by formula I (in the formula, each of R1, R2, R3, R4 designates the same or different alkyl group or aryl group.) as charge transport material, and polyester having polycarbonate and a cycling unit represented by formula II (in the formula, either of A1 and A2 designates a bivalent group containing at least an aromatic ring in a main chain, and the other of them designates a bivalent group not containing the aromatic ring in the main chain.) as a bonding resin, and moreover contains the polyester represented by the formula 1 at the rate of 1 to 5% in weight in the bonding resin.
