Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an electrophotographic planographic printing plate excellent in printing durability, dimensional stability and handleability.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of polyester and a thermoplastic resin incompatible with the polyester is formed into a sheetlike body and subjected to at least a uniaxial stretching to obtain a polyester film contg. voids. This polyester film is used as a substrate, an electric conductive intermediate layer is disposed on the front side of the substrate and a photoconductive layer consisting of a powdery photoconductive material, a sensitizer and a resin binder is formed on the intermediate layer. An electric conductive back coat layer is further disposed on the rear of the substrate to obtain the objective electrophotographic planographic printing plate.
