PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the deterioration of electrostatic charge characteristics by the repetitive use of a photoreceptor contg. a specific high-polymer transporting material, to lower the relative humidity under and at high humidity and high temp. and to prevent the dew condensation of the photoreceptor at a low temp. by subjecting an electrophotographic photoreceptor contg. the specific high-polymer transporting material to a heat treatment.
SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor formed by incorporating the high-polymer transporting material expressed by formula I into the extreme surface most distant from the base of the electrophotographic photoreceptor is subjected to the heat treatment in or out of an image forming device. In the formula, R1 to R3 denote substd. or unsubstd. alkyl groups, etc.; R4 denotes a hydrogen atom, etc.; R5, R6 denote substd. or unsubstd. aryl groups, etc.; o to q denote integers from 0 to 4; k, j denote compsns. and denote 0.1≤k≤1, 0≤j≤0.9; n denotes a repeating unit and denotes an integer from 5 to 5,000; X denotes a bivalent group of an aliphat. group and denotes the bivalent group, etc., expressed by formula II. R101, R102 denote substd. or unsubstd. alkyl groups, etc.; l, m denote integers from 0 to 4 and Y denote an alkylene group, etc.
