Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5828768
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To transfer the toner stuck to a photoreceptor with high efficiency, by charging the toner turned into a visible image on the photoreceptor by a charger and with the electric charge having the same polarity as the toner after a developing process.

CONSTITUTION: A recorder containing an electrostatic drum 1 has the prescribed necessary units including a recharger 5 around the drum 1. The recharger 5 charges the electric charge of the same polarity as the toner to the toner which is turned into a vsible image on the drum 1 of the developer. After the developing process, the recharging carried out by the recharger 5 is applied within a 500W900V range in terms of the surface potential of the drum 1. In such way, the charge amount of the toner is increased to intensify the Coulomb force. Thus the copying is possible to the paper 60 in an intensive and effective way.
