Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the adhesiveness to a photosensitive drum and to constitute the drum type electrophotographic, sensitive body in such a manner that this body is applicable even to the use applying high-rotating torque thereon by using specific resins for a drum flange and drum gear.
CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive drum 1 and the drum flange or drum gear 3 are provided. The drum flange or drum gear contains the thermoplastic polyurethane resin and polyacetal resin. An adhesive 2 is applied on the inside surface of the photosensitive drum 1 uniformly over the entire periphery thereof by a means, such as spray or dispenser and thereafter the drum flange and/or the drum gear 3 is adhered. The thermoplastic polyurethane resin and the polyacetal resin are used by mixing these resins. Not only the excellent mechanical characteristics but also the high adhesive power required for the photosensitive drum 1 and the drum flange or drum gear 3 is obtd.
