PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of filming phenomena and to enhance printing characteristics by forming the photosensitive layer composed of a binder polymer, a metal-free phthalocycnine molecularly dispersed into the binder polymer and an x-type and/or a τ-type phthalocycnine and smoothing its surface.
CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive layer is composed of the binder polymer, the metal-free phthalocycnine (H2-Pc) molecularly dispersed into the binder polymer, and the x-type of τ-type phthalocycnine (H2-Pc) granularly dispersed into the binder polymer, and the surface is smoothed by rolling or the like. The phthalocycnine partially molecularly dispersed into the binder polymer is obtained by dissolving the phthalocyanine in a proper solvent and selecting the binder polymer soluble in this solvent, thus permitting printing characteristics to be enhanced and occurrence of filming phenomena to be prevented.
