CONSTITUTION: The pyrilium dye (A), an electrically insulating polymer (B) and the compd. (C) expressed by formula I are incorporated into the photoconductive layer of this photosensitive body. In the formula, Ar1 denotes an (un)substd. arom. hydrocarbon or heterocycle; A denotes (un)substd. N-substd. carboazoryl or -Ar2-N(-R1)-R2; Ar2 denotes an (un)substd. arom. hydrocarbon or heterocycle; R1, R2 denote (un)substd. alkyl or (un)substd. aryl. A 4-(4-dimethyl aminophenyl)-2, 6-diphenyl thiapyrilieum perchlorate, etc., are usable for the component A, polycarbonate, etc., for the component B and the compd. expressed by formula II, etc., for the component C.
