PURPOSE: To maintain stable and good electrostatic characteristics and to obtain sharp and good-quality images by incorporating a specified binder resin, a thermo-and/or photo-setting resin, and a cross-linking agent.

CONSTITUTION: The electrophotographic sensitive body has a photoconductive layer comprising at least an inorganic photoconductor and a binder resin composed of the cross-linking agent and the binder resin A having a weight average molecular weight of 1×103-2×104 and at least repeating units each having an acid group, such as -PO3H2, -COOH, -SO3H, phenolic -OH, or a cyclic acid anhydride group, and the thermo-or photo-setting binder resin B having repeating units each represented by formula I, R1 being a hydrocarbon group, thus permitting the obtained image to be superior in electrostatic characteristics and of sharp and good image quality.
