Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05165231
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the electrophotographic sensitive body superior in photosensitivity characteristics and potential stability at the time of repeated used by incorporating a specified compound.

CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive layer contains an electric charge generating material and as a charge transfer material the compound of formula in which each of Ar1-Ar6 is a univalent or divalent optionally substituted aromatic or heterocyclic group but the cases that all are phenyl or phenylene groups are excluded, and each of R1-R4 is an optionally substituted aromatic or heterocyclic group, or II, halogen, OH, optionally substituted amino, optionally substituted 1-6C lower alkyl or such alkoxy. Since this compound can form a hard film high in mechanical strength by dissolving or dispersing it together with a binder resin and applying this coating fluid, it is useful for the charge transfer material of the electrophotographic sensitive body.
