Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63223653
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a photosensitive body high in photosensitivity, increased in durability, and usable by the positive charging system by incorporating an electric charge transfer material made of a pyrazoline derivative electron donor in a charge transfer layer and using X-type metal-free phthalocyanine as a charge generating material for a charge generating layer.

CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive body is obtained by successively laminating on a conductive substrate 1 the charge generating layer 2 containing the charge transfer material made of the pyrazoline derivative electron donor, the charge generating layer 3 containing the X-type phthalocyanine as the charge generating material, and a surface protective layer 4 formed in a thickness capable of uniformly changing surface state, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to have high sensitivity up to the near infrared region, and to be used in the positive charging system, to improve chargeability performance by uniformly changing the surface conditions of the charge generating layer, and to remarkably enhance resistance to environmental conditions and printing resistance.
