Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6419354
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve flexibility, sensitivity, electric chargeability, residual potential characteristics, and durability by incorporating a hydrazone compound having a specified structure in a photosensitive layer.

CONSTITUTION: The electrophotographic sensitive body is obtained by successively laminating on a conductive supporting body an electric charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer containing at least one of the hydrazone compounds represented by the general formula in which R1 is an alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, or heterocyclic ring group; R2 is an aryl or heterocyclic ring group; R3 is H atom or an alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, or heterocyclic ring group; Z is an aromatic mono- or poly-cyclic polycondensed group, each optionally substituted, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to be improved in electric chargeability characteristics, photosensitivity characteristics, and durability.
