To provide an electrophotographic toner which is unaffected by change in the temperature and humidity, even if development by continuous use is repeated and is superior in electrostatic charge stability for reproduction of images stably for a long time, and to provide an electrophotographic toner which is superior in at least transparency and is satisfactory in color reproducibility, when it is used as a color toner.
The electrophotographic toner comprises at least a binder resin, a colorant and an electrostatic charging control agent. The binder resin is a polyester resin comprising an alcohol component of an aromatic system. The electrostatic charging control agent has a salt structure, consisting of alkaline bentonite and organic cations.
