The electrostatic atomizer 21 includes: a discharge electrode 30; a water-feeding part 32 which feeds water to the discharge electrode 30; a first voltage-generating device 33 which generates a voltage to be applied to the discharge electrode 30; and a second voltage-generating part 34 which generates a voltage to be applied to the water-feeding part 32. In this case, water, which is fed to the discharge electrode 30 from the water-feeding part 32 which operates on the basis of the voltage generated in the second voltage-generating device 34, is electrostatically atomized by an electric field generated by applying the voltage, which is generated in the first voltage-generating device 33, to the discharge electrode 30. In addition, the electrostatic atomizer 21 is provided with a control part 60 which controls the second voltage-generating device 34 so that at least either the pulse period of the voltage applied to the water-feeding part 32 or electric power supplied to the water-feeding part 32 may be changed.
