Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an electrostatic charge image developer capable of forming a multicolor picture having excellent quality and color tone over a long period without lowering the picture density due to deficiency of a developing toner or defective transfer or without forming a defective picture, etc., due to the lowering of fluidity.
CONSTITUTION: This electrostatic charge image developer for forming a multicolor picture consists of a toner contg. ≥2 kinds of inorg. fine particles including a large-diameter inorg. fine particle L and a small-diameter inorg. fine particle S and a carrier. The maximum volume distribution diameter DL of the fine particles L is controlled to 50-150nm, the DS of the fine fine particles S to 10-50nm and DL/DS to 1.5-5.0, and the absolute value of (QS/QL) is kept at 0-0.5, wherein QL(QS) is the triboelectric charge quantity between the fine particle L (fine particle S) and the carrier material.
