Abstract:

To provide the electrostatic charge image developing toner superior in charging and transfer characteristics.

This electrostatic charge image developing toner comprises at least a binder resin and a colorant and an outer additive, and it has a volume average grain diameter D50 of 3.0-8.0 μm and a volume average particle diameter distribution index GSDv of ≤1.26, and a surface index [specific surface measured value/specific surface calculated value] of ≤6.0, where the specific surface calculated value=6Σ(n×R2)/{ρ×Σ(n×R3)}, where n is the number of grains in a channel in a coulter counter, R is a channel grain diameter in the coulter counter, and ρ is a toner density.
