PURPOSE: To eliminate the scattering of toner, to improve a fixing property and to prolong the wearing lives of a photosensitive body and a cleaning blade, etc., by compounding an organic magnetic body in a binder resin and attaining ≥5emu/g of a saturated magnetic moment of the toner.
CONSTITUTION: A polymerized composition incorporating at least a polymerized monomer, a coloring agent and an organic material body is dispersed in a water phase incorporating a dispersion stabilizer and is obtained the toner with suspension polymerization. The organic magnetic body is, for example, a ferrocene polymer of an organic metallic polymer, and the polymer having a ferrocene nucleus in a chain or in a side-chain can be used for it. The polymerized monomer has preferably a polymerized unsaturated group and for example, styrene derivatives and acrylic acid derivatives, etc., are used singly or in a mixture thereof. For the coloring agent, the whole pigments and dyes used as the toner coloring agent are applied for it. Due to the improved dispersibility of the organic magnetic body into a binder resin, the toner has an excellent toner scattering prevention effect and due to a lower Moh's hardness, namely a lower grinding strength, the wearing life is considered to be extended longer.
