Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform attachment/detachment of a gun body to an actuator without use of a tool.SOLUTION: An electrostatic coating apparatus comprises: a nozzle for spraying a paint; a discharge electrode for charging the paint sprayed from the nozzle; a high voltage generator for supplying a high voltage to the discharge electrode; a gun body at a tip of which the nozzle and the discharge electrode are provided and in which the high voltage generator is provided; and a connection mechanism which connects the gun body and an actuator. The gun body has a connection member which detachably connects the connection mechanism to the gun body. The connection mechanism and the connection member have a set of thread parts, and are so configured as to be fitted to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
