To eliminate coming-off of a ground terminal and to make a non-coated part generated by mounting the ground terminal on a coating surface inconspicuous as much as possible when a resin molded article having a through-hole is subjected to electrostatic coating.

In the method for electrostatically coating a bumper 1 having a screw hole 2, the outer surface 1a of the bumper 1 is coated with a conductive primer to form a conductive layer 5, and the conductive ground terminal 11, having a substrate 12 connected with a ground clip 14 and a pair of leg plates 13 projected from the substrate 12 resiliently engaged with the screw hole 2 having a claw part 13a bent outside on its distal end, is inserted to the screw hole 2. The claw part 13a is brought into contact with the conductive layer 5 to take a ground and the bumper 1 is subjected to electrostatic coating.
