Title:
ELECTROSTATIC DUST COLLECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3645983
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance recovery efficiency of fine particles by preventing deterioration of electrification efficiency of the fine particles.
SOLUTION: In an electrostatic dust collector provided with plural square pipes 8 in a case 2 and provided with a discharge electrode 14 in the square pipe 8, an auxiliary electrodes 21 is provided at an upstream side of the discharge electrode 14. On this constitution, when voltage is impressed between the square pipe 8 and the discharge electrode 14, (DC) electrolysis generates between both electrodes 8, 14, and fine particles contained in air flowing in the square pipe 8 are stuck to the square pipe 8 by the (DC) electrolysis. Since the fine particles are electrified by the auxiliary discharge electrode 14, the electrification efficiency of the fine particles is not deteriorated.
