PURPOSE: To make both plus and minus ions producible as a power source for a battery in an easy manner and, what is more, secure such an electrostatic generator as capable of making improvements in the efficiency of combustion by only connecting a single pole connector for output to an engine case.

CONSTITUTION: Both plus-minus DC power terminals 2 and 2' to be connected to a car-mounted battery and an interver converting DC voltage being operated in time of a power switch 4 being turned on, into AC voltage, namely, an oscillating integration circuit 5 and a frequency converting integration circuit 6 are all installed. In addition, a high tension transformer 8 on which AC output of the inverter is impressed via switching transistors 7 and 7' is installed, while a diode 9 rectifying the AC voltage into minus DC voltage is connected to one side of terminals of the secondary side coil 82. This diode 9 is connected to a single pole connector 11 for output use via a resistor 10, while DC-AC output select switches 12 are connected to the diode 9 in parallel.
