To prevent the occurrence of smearing, offset and filming at the time of copying and to improve the flowability and electrostatic chargeability of toner by suspension polymerizing polymeric composition constituted of polyethylene wax, polypropylene wax, polymeric monomer and coloring agent.
The electrostatic image developing toner is used, which is obtained by suspension-polymerizing the polymeric composition constituted of at least the polyethylene wax, the polypropylene wax, the polymeric monomer and the coloring agent. The polyethylene wax having a softening point of 100 to 150°C, preferably, 120 to 140°C is used. It is allowed to use either of high or low density polyethylene wax, but, it is preferable to use the high density polyethylene from the point of view on the improvement of smearing, and also, it is preferable to use the material whose compatibility is high with reference to the polymeric monomer to be used, or the polymer formed of the monomer.
