Abstract:

To obtain an electrostatic latent image developing toner for a full- color image having good flowability, electrostatic chargeability, developing performance and transferability and capable of preventing fogging on a sensitive material and the contamination of the inside of a machine.

The toner consists of toner particles containing a bonding resin, a colorant and a releasing agent and an additive. The releasing agent is contained by ≥3% and the toner is an amorphous toner with a shape of toner particles represented by ML' 2/A≥125. When luminescence voltage due to carbon derived from the bonding resin in the toner particles is represented by X, luminescence voltage due to elements derived from the additive is represented by Y, and X' (2/3) and Y are subjected to primary regression to a straight line which passes zero, the correlation coefficient of each element derived from the additive is ≥0.4. The additive is preferably a titanium compound obtained by allowing TiO(OH)2 manufactured by a wet process to react with a silane compound.
