Abstract:
To provide toner for electrostatic latent image development and a toner set for electrostatic latent image development which suppress exposure of a white toner surface when white toner and chromatic toner are simultaneously used, suppress charge leakage and are excellent in the image quality without generation of transfer dirt.SOLUTION: Toner for electrostatic latent image development according to the present invention comprises at least: a toner base particle which contains a binder resin and a white pigment; and an external additive. As the external additive, the toner contains silica particles and satisfies the following relational expression (1). Relational expression (1): 0.70 Wh_Si(B)/Wh_Si(A)0.95. Wh_Si(A) expresses the Net intensity of the Si element that is measured by a wavelength dispersion type fluorescent X-ray analysis device and contained in the white toner for electrostatic latent image development. Wh_Si(B) expresses the Net intensity of the Si element that is measured by the fluorescent X-ray analysis device and contained in the white toner for electrostatic latent image development subjected to the ultrasonic dispersion processing in the water.SELECTED DRAWING: None
