PURPOSE: To obtain the titled purifier which can improve the efficiency of purification with inexpensive arrangements, by adopting the constitution that water collected by electrodes and a dust separator is let flow down into a water tank connected to the bottom of the main body of a purifying tank through two pipings in a manner such that a liquid to be purified can freely flow.

CONSTITUTION: Inside the main body 1 of a purifying tank in the electrostatic liquid purifier where a water-contg. insulating liquid 2 in the tank 1 is sent into an inflow pipe 4 through a hose 15, introduced through holes 5 into the main body 3 of the purifying tank, dewatered therein and then returned from an exhaust pipe 11 through another hose 15 into the tank 1, water and dust are removed by a positive electrode 6 connected to a high-voltage power source 16, an earthed negative electrode and a dust separator 9 provided between both of the electrodes. In addition a water tank 18 is provided below the main body 3 of the purifying tank and connected to said tank by hoses 21, 22 in a manner such that the liquid can freely flow, so as to facilitate the inflow of collected water into the water tank 18. Since said hoses 21, etc. may be of sufficiently small piping, the purifier can be installed at a low cost.
