To make it possible to obtain a coating film of a uniform hue by successively adhering plural kinds of powder coating materials varying in the hues from each other onto a surface to be coated by electrostatic force in such a manner that the coating films of the mixed hues are formed, thereafter the coating films are baked onto the surface to be coated.
The surface 5a to be coated is coated white before execution of coating in a coating line. The yellow powder coating material is adhered in a first coating stage 1 on the surface 5a to be coated which is coated with the white powder coating material, the magenta powder coating material is adhered thereto in a second coating stage 2 and the cyan powder coating material is adhered thereto in a third coating stage 3. The coating films composed of the powder coating material is adhered onto the surface 5a to be coated are cured by heating, by which the coating films are baked onto the surface 5a to be coated in a fourth stage 4. The object 5 to be coated is thereafter ejected from the baking position and is cooled, by which the coating of the desired hue is applied on the surface 5a to be coated.
