Title:
ELECTROSTATIC RECORDING BODY AND ITS MANUFACTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5965851
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an electrostatic recording body with superior transparency, dimensional stability and mechanical strength by sticking a treating agent for providing electric conductivity to both sides of a film support having two sheets of paper adhered to both sides and by applying an electrostatic recording agent to the surface of one of the two sheets of paper.

CONSTITUTION: Two sheets of paper are adhered to both sides of a plastic film support, and a treating agent for providing electric conductivity is stuck to both sides by 0.1W6g/m2 and dried. An electrostatic recording agent is applied to or impregnated into the electrically conductive surface of one of the two sheets of paper by 3W10g/m2, and it is dried. The desired thickness of the film to be used is ≤50μm when foldability, cost, etc. are considered. Paper having 10W40g/m2 weight is preferably used as paper to be adhered to both sides of the film from the points of transparency, adhering work efficiency, etc. The desired treating agent for providing electric conductivity is a high molecular cationic salt having a quat. ammonium salt group such as polyvinylbenzyltrithylammonium chloride.
