Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic separation method capable of increasing efficiency of a cleaning process before electrostatic separation of a resin piece, and an electrostatic separator.SOLUTION: Resin pieces are divided into a first resin piece to be cleaned and a second resin piece that does not have to be cleaned. The first resin piece is cleaned. The cleaned first resin piece and the second resin piece are charged so that the resin pieces can be electrostatically separated from each other according to material.
