Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic sorter and a method for cleaning the electrostatic sorter that allow attachments adhering to sorting electrodes to be cleaned off without deteriorating an electrostatic sorting property.SOLUTION: An electrostatic sorter comprises: a first electrode part 3 which includes a first surface 6, a second surface 7, and a third surface 5 positioned above the first surface 6 and the second surface 7; a second electrode part 4 which includes a fourth surface 6 facing the first surface 6, a fifth surface 7, and a sixth surface 5 positioned above the fourth surface 6 and the fifth surface 7; and a jetting device 110 which is capable of jetting a gaseous matter toward at least the first surface 6, the third surface 5, the fourth surface 6, and the sixth surface 5 respectively, and movable relatively to the first electrode part 3 and the second electrode part 4.
