Title:
ELECTROSTATIC SORTING APPARATUS AND ELECTROSTATIC SORTING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011161311
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To recover plastic pieces at high purity and high recovery even though the mixing ratio of plastic pieces contained in sorted materials varies.

The recovery box 141 of an electrostatic sorting apparatus is partitioned into three boxes, i.e., a minus electrode side recovery box 141A, a plus electrode side recovery box 141B, and a middle recovery box 141C, ABSs (polymer of acrylonitrile, butadiene, styrene) are collected to the minus electrode side recovery box 141A, and PS (polystyrene) and PP (polypropylene) are collected to the plus electrode side recovery box 141B. ABS, PS and PP that can not be sorted are mixedly collected to the middle recovery box 141C. The mixed group collected to the middle recovery box 141C is conveyed by a conveying machine 151C, and is stored in a hopper 152C. A switching valve 154 circulates the mixed group stored in the hopper 152C to an electrically charged cylinder, and the circulated mixed group is electrostatically sorted again.
