The electrostatic sorting device 1 includes: a first electrode 2a having a first surface 2as facing a drop area A1 for dropping charged plastic 3; a second electrode 2b having a second surface 2bs and capable of applying a voltage different from that of the first electrode 2a; a scraper 4a made of an electrical insulating material and movable along the first and second surfaces 2as, 2bs for removing adhering plastic 3; and a drive control portion 4c for controlling the scraper 4a so as to repeat the movement inside the drop area A1 and the stop outside the drop area A1 in a state where voltages are applied to the first and second electrodes 2a, 2b.
