To provide an electrostatic suction-type fluid discharging device which meets both aspects of rapid responsive discharge and high impact precision in a configuration for discharging a fluid using electrostatic force and ensures safety/general-purpose properties.
In this fluid discharging device, an electrode 9 for applying an electrostatic field in order to charge an ink 2 inside a nozzle 4, comes into contact with an ink discharging hole 4b by covering the outer wall surface (a side wall surface 4c and an opposite surface 4d) of the nozzle 4 with a conductive material, and further, a fluid-repellent film 13 is formed on the outermost surface of the nozzle 4 so as to cover the electrode 9 and the nozzle 4 is coated with the fluid-repellent film 13 excepting the ink discharging hole 4b.
