Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily position a material around an electrostatic suspension furnace body.
CONSTITUTION: A through-hole 22 extending in the direction of a central axis is formed in a spherical electrode 5 disposed on the central axis of the electrostatic suspension furnace body 1, through which through-hole a manipulator 23 is inserted into from the outside of the electrostatic suspension furnace body 1 freely to go out and in and a material 13 is held through a metal fine wire member 26 mounted on the tip end of the manipulator 23 and being easily fuseable with a slight electric current. An electric current is applied to the fine wire member 26 from a fusing power supply 30 to burn the fine wire member 26. Once the fine wire member 26 is burned, the manipulator 23 is instantaneously pulled out to the outside with a pulling device 33.
