CONSTITUTION: A conductive belt 13 is extended and coiled on a pair of a driving drum 11 and a passive drum 12 which are installed horizontally at a prescribed distance from each other and freely rotate on a horizontal axial center. Moreover, a conical electrode 16 which generates a corona discharge field is installed above a down stream side of a dust throwing hopper 15 to supply crushed garbage B and a conductive garbage receiving tray 21, a semiconductive garbage receiving tray 22, and insulating garbage receiving trays 22-25 are arranged from the lower part of the driving drum 11 to the down stream side in the moving direction of the conductive belt 13. Consequently, electrons are uniformly radiated to crushed garbage which is uniformly magnetized by leading the garbage in the corona discharge field in the horizontal part on the upper face of the conductive belt and thus separation precision can be improved.
