A drive transmission part 5 of the elevating carriage 1 is constituted of a drive shaft 28 free to operate to rotate and free to move forward and backward, a front transmission shaft 29 provided in parallel with the drive shaft 28 and to actuate a rear leg part 4 to expand and contract by rotation, a rear transmission shaft 30 to actuate a rear leg part 4 to expand and contract by rotation and a change-over mechanism 31 provided between the drive shaft 28 and the front transmission shaft 29 and the rear transmission shaft 30 and free to transmit rotation of the drive shaft 28 to the front transmission shaft 29 only, to the rear transmission shaft 30 only and to both of the front transmission shaft 29 and the rear transmission shaft 30 by respectively changing it by selection of front and rear positions of the drive shaft 28.
