The elevating and lowering mechanism includes: a mobile body to be elevated and lowered in an advanced/retracted manner in a substantially vertical direction from each opening which is arranged in a counter disposed on a cabinet; and an electric motor being a power source to elevate and lower the mobile body. The mobile body is suspended by wires where a weight is suspended at one ends, and fixed pulleys.
