SOLUTION: An elevation driving device includes a lifting pillar 1 for lifting an elevatable body RE upward and a suspending wire body 2 for suspending the elevatable body RE downward, which are wound around a signal elevation driving pulley 3 supported movably in the axial direction so that their winding direction is different each other, a driving means for rotationally driving the elevation driving pulley 3, and a movement operating means MO for operating the movement of the elevation driving pulley 3 in the axial direction accompanying with its rotation.
