Abstract:
To provide an elevator apparatus having no machine room, which enables installation of a large-sized elevator control device without upsizing of a hoistway.
An opening 10 is formed in a peripheral wall 1a of a hoistway, and an elevator control device 9 is installed in the opening 10. The opening 10 is formed in any one of three surfaces except a landing-side surface, such as a wall surface facing a passage and the like in a building. The size of the opening 10 is necessary and sufficient for installation of the elevator control device 9.
