PURPOSE: To smoothly perform in/out carrying a cargo by a carriage by equipping a transfer plate which can be bridged between a cage sill and a landing sill.

CONSTITUTION: A tranfer plate 11, fixing its one end to a hinge 10 fixed to a side of a cage door 5 of a cage floor 2a, is mounted turnably with the hinge 10 serving as the center to a car 2. A transfer plate driving gear 5 for turning the transfer plate 11 with the hinge 10 serving as the center is arranged in the cage floor 2a. Then in the case of in/out carrying a cargo, the transfer plate driving gear 15 is driven to turn the transfer plate 11, and the transfer plate 11 is bridged between a cage sill 2b and a landing sill 4a, to close a clearance, so as to smoothly run a carriage.
