Abstract:
To obtain an elevator call registration device and a method capable of eliminating an unnecessary waiting time while securing a time required for changing call registration by performing the call registration for a destination floor of a passenger through voice recognition.
A matching rate between a voice signal obtained by converting voice generated by a passenger and a reference voice signal corresponding to each destination floor stored in advance is calculated. A specified time which is measured until a call is registered after voice is specified is determined according to a calculated matching rate. When the determined specified time passes, call registration for a destination floor is performed.
