PURPOSE: To provide an elevator car arrival forecasting device utilized for an elevator system controlling multiple elevator cars via a group supervisory operation system and allowing users to easily identify the usable elevator cars.

CONSTITUTION: A lighting control device drives a lighting system corresponding to an elevator car arriving the fastest, e.g. a lighting system installed near a car getting-on/off port 2a, interlockingly with the operations of getting-on/off operation call registering buttons 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b installed at multiple car getting- on/off ports 2a-2d. The lighting system 9a selectively illuminates the floor surface near the car getting-on/off port 2a where an elevator car arrives. Since the illuminated floor surface is located below the lines of sight of users, the elevator car arriving the fastest can be easily confirmed by the users.
