To provide an elevator control device that can realize operation control with excellent transportation efficiency in a multi car system.
A first shunting means 22 outputs a first shunting command for moving a car to a prescribed shunting floor after finishing a call response. A blocked condition detecting means 23 determines the occurrence of a blocked condition in which a following car can not be operated due to the shunting condition of the preceding car at the shunting floor, and outputs information on the occurrence of the blocked condition. A second shunting means 24 outputs a second shunting command for moving the preceding car in the shunting condition to a new shunting floor based on the information on the occurrence of the blocked condition. Furthermore, an overall operation control means 25 executes overall operation control on each car based on information on each car, the first shunting command from the first shunting means 22, and the second shunting command from the second shunting means 24. As a result, the elevator control device capable of responding a call request from a passenger efficiently without disturbing the operation for the following car can be realized.
