Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an elevator controller which can secure the safety of passengers even if braking torque is lowered or eliminated due to trouble with a brake.
CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer 16A is provided with slide detection means 28 which detects the sliding motion of a cage according to running velocity V when a power command Ts is cut off and when a braking command Bs is output, so as to detect the sliding motion according to any abnormal value of the running velocity when the cage stops at a floor.
