Abstract:
To provide an elevator device having a simple constitution for controlling atmospheric pressure in a car without using an atmospheric pressure sensor.
The elevator device includes the car which is elevated up and down and stopped in an elevator shaft, and on which passengers ride, and a load detecting device for detecting a load in the car. In accordance with the load in the car detected by the load detecting device, pressure in the car is increased and reduced. A pressure increasing blower for feeding air in the car and a pressure reducing blower for feeding air outside the car are used to control atmospheric pressure in the car.
