PURPOSE: To prevent electromagnetic wave interference by forming an electric field shield layer and a magnetic field shield layer as a lamination on the inner wall of an elevator shaft and peripheral wall of a cage.
CONSTITUTION: An electric field shield layer 30 is formed overall on the peripheral wall of an elevator shaft 12 and of a door 20 by low temperature thermal spraying of a highly conductive metal material capable of screening an electric field, such as iron, brass, copper or zinc. Further, a highly magnetic permeable metal plate capable of screening a magnetic field, such as permalloy or amorphous, is attached to the peripheral surface of the electric field shield layer 30, so that a magnetic field shield layer 32 is formed. On the other hand, a highly magnetic permeable metal plate capable of screening a magnetic field is attached to the peripheral wall of a cage 14 and of a door 24, so that a magnetic field shield layer 36 is formed. Further, an electric field shield layer 38 is formed overall on the peripheral surface of the magnetic field shield 36 by low temperature thermal spraying of a highly conductive metal material capable of screening an electric field.
